Shipping
Options
Freight charges are
based on weight, number of units, and distance.
Freight companies are only responsible for getting the equipment
to the address that they were provided. Additional
shipping fees may be
applicable:
$80.00 –
Lift-gate A lift gate
is a “mini elevator” on the back of the truck which lowers the
shipment down to the ground. If you have a loading dock, you
will not need this service.
$70.00 –
Inside Delivery (Los
Angeles, Boston, Chicago and New York City $100.00)
Freight Companies provide “curbside delivery” as a standard.
Curbside delivery is taking the shipment off the truck only
(with a lift-gate if required as noted above). If
requested you can elect to have the driver bring the shipment
inside and place it. The freight company will only place
the shipment on a different floor if there is an elevator. Note, “placing” your shipment
does not include removing and taking away packing, or otherwise
installing the shipment.

within the 48 contiguous States are eligible for Premium
White Glove Service. You can sit back and watch a
trained professional unload your vending machine; take
it into your location; and set it in to its place.
Please call us for a personalized quote. This cost
effective service includes all applicable charges:

Additionally, the shipper will set up your Combo and
take away the packaging. |
$76.50 –
Residential Delivery (Los
Angeles, Boston, Chicago and New York City $104.95) Freight
Companies charge an extra fee for any non-commercial address or
to commercial addresses that do not have normal receiving
hours.
No Extra
Charge –
Delivery to a Commercial Address
You can save on Residential Delivery fees (see above) if you can
arrange to have your shipment sent to a Commercial Address.
If that address also has a loading dock, you can also save the
lift-gate fee. Many mini-storage facilities fall under
this category, and can also double as a temporary your warehouse
for larger orders.
$17.50 –
Notify Fee Freight
Companies will provide notification prior to delivery to a
commercial address. This service is provided at no charge to a
residential address. Freight companies will provide
a delivery time "window": for example, in the afternoon or in the
morning.
Freight
Forwarder –
Caribbean,
and shipments to Alaska or Hawaii. If you need your shipment
send to your freight forwarder and require paperwork sent to
them we will be happy to take care of it for you. A
freight forwarder can also be provided for you.
Insurance Shipments
are covered as part of the standard insurance offered by freight
companies. Insurance is included in your freight
charge.
Freight
Claims
Freight
claims are very rare, but to help facilitate a claim you are
responsible to:
–
Inspect
your shipment for damage and or shortages before signing to
accept.
–
Check the
condition of every box for tears, creases, crushing, or water
stains.
–
If there is any
damage to the packaging, check the contents.
–
Note on the
Bill of Lading “subject to
further inspection” to cover any additional damages that may be
found after signing for shipment.
–
Note the number of
boxes received on the Bill of Lading before signing.
–
Ensure the driver
notes any damages or short-shipment on the Bill of Lading and
signs.
–
Take pictures
any damage. Include pictures of the packaging.
If
merchandise is damaged in transit, you must contact The Vending
Store within 24 hours, so we are able to file a claim with
the freight company on your behalf.
The package
and packing materials should be retained for the freight
company's inspection. The freight company may need to send an
inspector to view the damage and take pictures. Damages are the
responsibility of the freight carrier and although The Vending
Store is happy to file a claim on your behalf, The Vending
Store takes no responsibility for the outcome of the claim.
Do not
refuse delivery because of damage; this will lead to storage
costs for which you will be responsible. If the driver is not
notified of damage at delivery, it may be more difficult to
resolve the claim. Follow the above steps and your claim will be
processed quickly.
